What:
Following a two-year ascent in the public eye: First singing her own songs
at numerous public events in the Pittsburgh area, under the tutelage of former
Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra conductor, Lucas Richman; then singing the
Star Spangled Banner before 17,000 Cleveland Indians fans last July; and
leading the Republican National Convention in the Pledge of Allegiance in
September, Sara has been invited to Thursday’s Presidential Inauguration,
where she and her dad will dance at the Stars and Stripes Ball , in celebration
of President Bush’s second term.

Sara’s determination, the world would be a better place.”
How:
A great lover of music, Sara dances by doing figure eights and loop de loops
in her wheelchair. Her mom reports complaining about premature carpet wear
in Sara’s bedroom, only to find the effervescent young woman literally “cutting
a rug” to the sounds of her favorite music.
